Cityzen Agency  is a group of architecture students from Leeds Beckett University. Our aim is to work with local communities and respond to their urban and architectural needs.

WHAT ARE WE DOING?

 

We are currently working on a Live Project called ‘Pop up and Play’. It will be temporarily situated outside Leeds Art Gallery as a play space and then it is intended that it will be relocated at New Wortley as a permanent cultural space in 2021.

HOW CAN YOU HELP US?

 

This website exhibits seven anonymous propositions of a cultural pop-up space by each student in our studio: Cityzen Agency. You can evaluate each proposal and then cast your vote using the ‘vote’ page. You will each be able to vote for your 1st, 2nd and 3rd favourite projects.  

 

Feedback is also required as it is crucial to the development of our projects. This can be done by using the comment box located on each project page ranging from A-G. When leaving your feedback please consider:

 

• Is the design of a high quality?

• Has the project responded well to sustainability, buildability and materiality?

• Is the communication of the project clear?

• Is the cultural use of the pop-up a good one?

 

The voting portal opens on Tuesday 14th April 2020 and closes on Friday 17th April 2020 This means that you only have four days to cast your vote.
